MEN’S BASKETBALL
Coach Alvarez is presently the Varsity Head Coach for the Archbishop McCarthy High School Mavericks and has been a part of the program for the past 7 years. He started his coaching career at St. Timothy Catholic School in Miami, Florida. Coach Alvarez was offensive player of the year his freshman year at Columbus High School. He was a two year MVP at St. Brendan’s High School, where he led the team in scoring, assists, and rebounding. He received offers to play college basketball at Weber International and St. Thomas University.
