Aaron Vorachek enters his first year as the Head Baseball Coach at Archbishop McCarthy High School. Prior to starting at McCarthy, he was the Head Baseball Coach at Southwood High School in Shreveport, LA for the last year and a half.

Aaron Vorachek’s college baseball coaching and MLB scouting resume includes 19 years of experience at those levels. Vorachek spent 11 seasons as the head coach at Bossier Parish Community College. He is the winningest coach in program history; 52 players selected as All-Conference, 8 players selected to All-Region, and 2 named All-American. In 2013, he coached the Conference Freshman of the Year; in 2011, the NJCAA D1 Defensive Player of the Year and Rawlings Gold Glove award winner; and in 2010, a Rawlings Big Stick Award winner. His coaching resume includes having coached at three Division I schools. He started his career at Portland State University as an assistant during the 1998 season. Following the ’98 season the program was dropped, so Vorachek took the volunteer position at the University of Portland, while completing his master’s degree in Education. Upon completion, he moved to Arizona, and was an assistant at Glendale Community College during the 2000 season and through the fall of 2000. He then accepted a position with the Montreal Expos, as a scout in the state of Louisiana. Coach Vorachek also served as an assistant coach at Centenary College during the 2003 season. He has been a head coach in the Northwest Collegiate League, the Mississippi Collegiate Summer League, the Shreveport Muckdogs, Louisiana All Stars and D Bat Elite.
